Gold Coast takes beach bar to a whole new level

December 2020

The Gold Coast is set to welcome a brand new mega entertainment rooftop precinct in early 2021 – taking beach bars to a whole new level.

Cali Beach Club is the latest development revealed by leading Australian hospitality group Artesian Hospitality, set to entice and delight both locals and tourists alike.

To enter, guests will ride the impressive 26-person glass elevator up to the precinct where a slick and sophisticated beachside playground awaits.

Think luxe poolside cabanas, a world-class restaurant, multiple premium dining outlets, bars, sports facilities and even an outdoor cinema.

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise on the corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Elkhorn Avenue, the brand-new entertainment destination will be situated four stories above street level and boast a spectacular outlook over Surfers Paradise beach and unparalleled views of the Surfers Paradise skyline.

“Cali Beach Club marks the start of something special for entertainment offerings of its kind in Queensland, and Australia in general,” says Artesian Hospitality Managing Partner, Matthew Keegan.

“As a company, we have a mantra to lead, not just follow. Cali Beach Club is a complete testament to our commitment to bring unique venues to life that will ensure our customer’s expectations are not just met but exceeded.

“Our aim is to deliver a luxury hospitality experience that will surpass anything currently available in Australia and I am totally confident that we will achieve that aim.

“Australia, come relax, eat, drink, play and embrace life at Cali Beach Club.”

The Cali Beach Club will feature a sand covered volleyball court, a slick new restaurant with unobstructed ocean views, three large beach-edged pools, endless sun lounges and daybeds, bars, exercise areas, open air luxe showers and VIP Cabanas.

Last but certainly not least, the Cali Beach Club will also feature a beachside outdoor cinema. Guests can listen to waves crash, breathe in the ocean air and enjoy a movie under the stars.

“This is exactly what Surfers Paradise, and our city needs,” says Mayor Tom Tate.

“I applaud the team behind this development as it will be a beacon for locals and visitors. I look forward to seeing the evolution of Cali Beach Club into one of those must-visit destinations year-round.’’

The Cali Beach Club is set to open early 2021.
