Condev GC100 Charity Bike Ride

The CONDEV GC100 is the Gold Coast bike ride event not to be missed.

The event was first run in 2010 and each year raises money for local and international charities with over $100,000 raised to date.

Organised annually by the Rotary Club of Parkwood, the feature event is the 100km ride starting at 6.30am at the Luke Harrop Circuit in Runaway Bay, winding down the coast to Miami, across through Robina to Mudgeeraba. It’s at this point that the tempo picks up as the riders head north through Highland Park, Mount Nathan and Pimpama where it is 30kms of gruelling hills – one after another – until riders get to the 80km mark where it returns to a more even level once again on its way back to Runaway Bay via Coomera and Hope Island.

There is also a flat 50 km ride along the beautiful Gold Coast coastline to Broadbeach and back to the Luke Harrop Circuit starting at 6.45am.

Both rides will be finished by 12.30pm.

There will also be events for children, with a 2km ride around Luke Harrop Circuit for boys and girls up to 6 years of age and a 6km ride for those up to 12 years of age.

There will also be amusements and rides for the kids and a range of food stalls for families who want to come down and support riders, or just have a great family fun day.

The circuit will be available for those who want to have fun on their bikes whilst waiting for the event riders to return.
