Share the Dignity

Every night, there are more than 48,000 homeless women in Australia. Every month, these women are forced to choose between eating a meal, or purchasing pads or tampons to manage their natural bodily function. This August, Australia Fair has partnered with Share the Dignity, to assist with ensuring that all women are afforded the dignity in life that many of us take for granted.

To help us Share the Dignity, simply purchase any sanitary items and donate them into the cages located outside of Coles and Woolworths. These are donated to Gold Coast charities that supply homeless, at-risk and women experiencing domestic violence with dignity at a time when they need it most. When you donate sanitary products to Share the Dignity, you’re donating much more than pads and tampons – you’re giving a women experiencing homelessness or financial crisis the essentials, so she doesn’t need to choose between food and dignity.
